*Summary:*
The Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for ensuring safe high-quality rehabilitation services for residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations and evidence-based guidelines. This role is responsible for providing Physical Therapy services part-time while working closely with the Executive Director to design and scale a high quality, person-centered, and efficient rehabilitation program. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, leads rehabilitation operations through the principles of high reliability to support the mission and culture of safety.
*Essential Functions*
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the Rehabilitation program including staffing, budgeting, billing procedures, scheduling, and training direct reports.
* Perform all evaluations, develop individualized Physical Therapy plan of care, and assess conditions to determine therapy plan in consultation with physician or other providers.
* Administer prescribed physical therapy including but not limited to manual exercises, maneuvers, and hands-on therapy to increase mobility and facilitate wellness.
* Educate and collaborate with the nursing team and resident’s family to coordinate the most effective plan of care.
* Assist the residents in achieving treatment; instruct, encourage, and assist residents in performing physical activities and proper use of supportive equipment.
* Evaluate effects of physical therapy treatments by observing and documenting resident’s progress in the electronic medical record; recommend adjustments or modifications as needed.
* Make equipment recommendations, complete justification letters, and work directly with vendors as appropriate.
* Oversee resident equipment functionality by completing preventative maintenance per manufacturer’s instructions for use and work with vendors as appropriate.
* Offer analysis, information and suggestions with the end goal of developing physical therapy operational policies; determine productivity, production, quality and patient-services procedures.
* Follows all of Pope’s Place policies and procedures including HIPAA.

*Required Qualifications*
* Current Physical Therapy License valid in the State of Washington.
* Masters Degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
* 1-year supervisory experience
* 1-year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
* Proficient in computer and MS 365
* Must pass a State and Federal Background Check, including fingerprints
* Valid State Driver’s License
* Must maintain current vehicle insurance
* Current Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR
* Current Food Handler’s Permit or within 30 days of hire
* Proof of licensing required vaccinations
* DDA Developmental Disabilities Specialty Training within 90 days of hire
* DOH In Home Services Orientation Class within 90 days of hire
* Behavior Management Training within 60 days of hire
* Must acquire and provide proof of 30 hours of CEUs per year
*Preferred Qualifications *
* Doctorate Degree from a program accredited by the CAPTE.
* Experience working with children with development delay or disability preferred
* 1-year experience working with children with disabilities
* Completion of a one (1) year clinical residency specializing in pediatric physical therapy
* Experience with clinic operations
*Work Environment *
This position is inclusive of all resident care programs of Pope’s Place. The position requires flexibility as hours of work are subject to operational needs. Share administrative on call duties on a rotating schedule. The environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and other potential hazards. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and follow strict guidelines to protect self and residents from infectious disease; use proper lifting techniques at all times and pursue help as needed.
*Physical Demands *
This position requires full range of motion and eye-hand coordination. Must be able to walk, bend, stretch, lift and stand. Must be able to distinguish between smells and colors, hear audible sounds. The position may require lifting and moving residents. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and always use proper lifting techniques; pursue assistance with lifting as needed.

Out-of-town or local travel may be required for this position.
Pay: $103,500.00 - $142,500.00 per year
