As a Sr Finance Analyst here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our Aerospace Technologies (AT) business unit. You will be accountable for analyzing financial data, providing insights and recommendations, and assisting strategic decision-making to drive the financial success of the business. Your expertise will contribute to the overall growth and profitability of our Aerospace Technologies division.
You will report directly to our Finance Manager and work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location. External hires will begin with 90 days onsite before transitioning to a hybrid (3/2) schedule.
Be a business partner with the Aerospace Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) leadership team and ISC Finance Leadership. Participate in the development of the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and on-going forecasts, support on-going business initiatives related to cost, productivity and inventory analysis to drive meeting financial commitments. Responsible for ensuring continuing process improvement in reporting through driving automation, standardization, as well as increased accuracy. Build strong partnership with ISC business partners to guide leaders in business decisions. Drive for increased automation, self-service and forecasting accuracy using Digital Finance tools. Demonstrate COO mentality to support business initiatives related to cost, productivity and inventory to drive meeting financial commitments.
Key responsibilities: - Perform Variance Analysis and provide commentaries
- Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), SRO, and X+Y forecasts.
- Support Month and Quarter end reporting and submit journal entries on time.
- Support the Excess and Obsolescence mitigation process, inventory reconciliation, Standard Costing, and other financial activities as requested by Finance leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Perform Ad hoc financial analysis
- Drive process improvement in reporting through automation, standardization, and increased accuracy
- Create and maintain process documentation
Expected travel is less than 10%.
Qualifications MUST HAVE:- 3+ years of experience in finance, cost accounting or accounting
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
