Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Erector to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing structural steel components, metal wall panels, roof systems, insulation, and related building systems for commercial and industrial metal buildings. Candidates must be safety-focused, capable of working at heights, and experienced with construction tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Erect and assemble pre-engineered metal buildings according to blueprints and specifications
  • Install structural steel components, girts, purlins, roof panels, wall panels, trim, and insulation
  • Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, and other construction equipment safely
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and erection plans
  • Use hand and power tools to complete installations accurately and efficiently
  • Perform bolt-up, alignment, rigging, and structural connections
  • Maintain a clean and safe jobsite environment
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures at all times
  • Work collaboratively with crew members, supervisors, and subcontractors
  • May required travel out of state

Qualifications

  • Previous experience erecting PEMB or structural steel buildings required
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
  • Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments
  • Knowledge of rigging, fall protection, and construction safety practices
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
  • OSHA 10 preferred
  • Welding or equipment operation experience is a plus

  • Ability to work overtime and travel when needed
  • Must pass any required drug screening and background checks
