Responsibilities Safety Operations SpecialistAs a Safety Operations Specialist in Engineering Lab Operations, you will be responsible for day-to-day safety activities across Engineering Test Services. You will help ensure that lab operations follow safety guidelines and regulatory requirements while working closely with Test, Engineering, and Facilities teams. This role contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by assisting with safety checks, documentation, and coordination of routine and non-routine activities. This position is on-site at the Phoenix Engines Site (111 S 34th Street, Phoenix, AZ), Monday through Friday)
- Assist with basic safety reviews and help identify potential risks in daily lab operations.
- Support safety-related tasks across different Aero organizations as directed.
- Work with HSE&F teams to help maintain safety programs, training materials, and procedures.
- Support contractor coordination and facility activities, including shutdown readiness tasks.
- Follow established processes and help ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with Management of Change (MOC) activities for assigned projects.

Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Experience in safety, engineering, facility, lab or test related environments is of value
- Great communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Familiarity with Honeywell or OSHA safety guidelines (OR the ability to learn)
