Advanced Engineering Systems Support Specialist at Honeywell, you will play a key role supporting global aftermarket MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) operations while building advanced expertise in engineering data management, regulatory compliance, and SAP-enabled repair processes. This position is ideal for candidates looking to deepen their technical capabilities and broaden their exposure across engineering, supply chain, and global operations.
In this role, you will take ownership of critical configuration management activities, including the creation and maintenance of Master Parts Lists (MPL), Document Information Records (DIR), and complex BOM structures. You will strengthen your knowledge of export control (including ITAR) and global aviation regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, CAAC), while ensuring technical data integrity and compliance across systems.
Working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, you will collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, quality, and customer-facing teams—building critical business acumen, communication skills, and strategic thinking capabilities. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.
This role reports to the Engineering Manager and is based in Phoenix, Tempe, or Deer Valley Aero sites with a hybrid schedule (100% onsite for the first 90 days).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage engineering support requests through ticketing systems, including Salesforce case creation, tracking, prioritization, and closure, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Create, update, and maintain configuration management data (MPL, DIR, complex BOM structures, and change effectivity) within SAP and related systems.
- Provide hands-on technical and system support to global MRO repair shops, including troubleshooting data and process issues and guiding users on SAP functionality.
- Review and validate engineering and technical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with export control regulations (including ITAR) when handling and releasing technical data and documentation.
- Maintain and analyze serialized data and part records to support traceability, lifecycle management, and data integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to resolve technical issues, support customer inquiries, and drive continuous improvement in processes and data quality.
- May travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE - At least 5 years, strong hands-on experience supporting Aftermarket MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) operations within an Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) environment.
- 2 years knowledge of technical documentation, databases, command media, and configuration management processes (MPL, DIR, complex BOM structures, change effectivity).
- 2 years of technical proficiency in SAP within a repair shop environment, coupled with general IT knowledge and data management systems.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
WE VALUE - Salesforce experience in searching, assigning and closing cases.
- Lifecycle Product License process expertise.
- Experience working directly with customer inquiries
- Proficiency in Visual Basic Programming and Microsoft Access Database, Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with the different national or regional civil aviation regulatory authorities ( FAA, EASA, CAAC, etc).
- Materials management knowledge and familiarity with complex BOM structures.
- Ability to analyze documents, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide effective training, communication, and support to global teams.
- Technical proficiency in the use of Teamcenter to manage product data and processes.
- Expertise in export control / ITAR compliance, including handling and exporting technical documentation.
- Experience working in a global, matrix environment with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Strong business acumen, analytical capability, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a complex, fast-paced setting.
- Ability to think strategically and solve problems with high bias for action.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills — especially when collaborating with senior executives and international partners.
