Position SummaryAs an
Occupational Therapist (OT), you will evaluate and treat residents to improve their ability to perform daily activities, restore function, and maximize independence. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy focused on improving ADLs, strength, coordination, and mobility
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and families
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and team meetings
- Conduct staff education and in-service training
Qualifications- Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's required; Master's/Doctorate preferred)
- Active, unencumbered OT license in South Carolina
- Must maintain license in good standing with the State Board
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
- Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- Commitment to continuing education and professional growth
