Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and serve as a key financial partner for the Project Management Office (PMO) and various business units within the United States and overseas. This role involves overseeing the financial performance of commercial and defense projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and driving key financial initiatives to achieve cost savings and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and operational analysis, with advanced skills in financial modeling and ERP systems
Principle Duties and Responsibilities- Partner with the PMO team to manage project financials, ensuring budgets, profitability targets, and compliance with regulatory and contract requirements.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and develop financial models to identify cost-saving and revenue growth opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and assist leadership decision-making.
- Support the annual budgeting and long-term financial planning process
- Serve as valued business partner to service centers by providing financial guidance and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
- Assist with pricing & cost savings initiatives
- Continuously enhance financial reporting and forecasting processes by implementing industry best practices and adapting to regulatory changes.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
- Advanced degree or CPA is a plus
- 5 years of relevant finance / operational experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in tools like Power BI, or similar analytical/reporting software. Oracle/Visual or other ERPs.
- Advanced user of Excel
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a history of cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are required
- This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirement, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship. Acceptable proof of US Citizenship is a US Passport, US Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate. Alternately, US State Dept license or other ITAR exemption must be obtained and maintained by foreign citizens to ensure full compliance with ITAR and NOFORN regulations.
