Responsibilities As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer within Honeywell Next Gen Avionics (NGA) group, you will play a pivotal role in the development, integration, and implementation of cutting-edge avionics solutions on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform. In this role, you will work alongside a diverse team of engineers, developers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking Avionics solutions.
As a flagship product, the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems.
Responsibilities- Drive engineering design, development and systems integration processes for avionics systems on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and ensure seamless integration of avionics solutions that meet system requirements and performance specifications.
- Perform systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, system architecture development, integration testing, and validation of avionics systems.
- Conduct trade studies and feasibility analyses to support decision-making for avionics development and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, and interface control documents.
- Coordinate and conduct system-level and subsystem-level testing
- Identify potential risks in the development and integration process, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to avionics system

Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 7 years of Systems engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in systems engineering principles and processes.

- Strong Avionics and systems lifecycle knowledge.
- MBSE experience
- DO‑178 / DO‑254 familiarity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
