Description:
Manages the day-to-day operations of a large university program or department, including the supervision of staff employees, student workers, programs or processes.
1. Plans and develops procedures for administering a large or complex department or program.
2. Manages fiscal activities, including procurement and budget analysis.
3. Provides guidance to subordinate staff and evaluates performance.
4. Prepares abstracts, research reports, funding proposals, operations and procedure manuals, and other written material and documentation.
5. Creates and reviews reports of expenditures and activities.
6. May administer grants and grant-related related communications, scholarships and other operations.
7. Develops, implements and maintains appropriate policies and procedures.
8. May serve as property custodian for the department.
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4-year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.

Additional Duties
•Proactively identify and qualify new donor prospects with UH affiliation using a variety of research tools (e.g., iWave, ResearchPoint, Lexis Nexis and other resources), wealth screenings, internal data mining, and reliable external website and data sources.
•Understand, evaluate and rank potential donors using the LAI framework to assess linkage, ability and interest of potential donors/alumni and prospects.
•Evaluate donor capacity through real estate holdings, SEC filings, compensation data, business affiliations, business valuation and philanthropic history following standard business practices.
•Monitor news, publications, philanthropic data, and other resources to identify significant wealth events, news, updates and other affiliations tied to potential donors and share these stories with gift officers/relevant teams and ensuring this data is accurately captured in BBCRM.
•Contribute to strategic portfolio reviews and support moves management tracking and reporting.
•Collaborate with Director of PMR, prospect research, prospect management analyst and front-line fundraisers to ensure timely follow-up and strategic next steps for newly identified prospects and strategically build and optimize their assigned fundraising portfolio using MG prospects. Flag and review prospects for re-assignment.
•Update and maintain accurate and up-to-date biographical - addressing and contact data, financial, and engagement, research rationale and other data within the university's BBCRM to enhance and support organizational information infrastructure.
•Meet or exceed monthly metrics and performance goals related to reactive/proactive prospect identification and capacity ratings
