Group 1 Acura Southwest Houston is growing and seeking experienced Flat-Rate/Flag Automotive Technicians to join our high-performing dealership, representing the quality and precision of the Acura brand!

Acura/Honda Certified Technicians are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications:

• 2 years as an Acura/Honda mechanic is desired
• Flag/flat-rate experience is strongly encouraged
• ASE certifications or technical certificate from a trade school is a plus!
• Tools based on our experience
• Communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong desire to provide an exceptional client experience
• Ability to achieve targeted goals
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license
