Job SummaryNational Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a Store Room Attendant. The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. The address of the facility is 9609 W Market St in Colfax, NC 27235.
Job Responsibilities- Maintains professional and courteous customer relationships with client, vendor, and internal team
- Ensures spare parts inventory is received, maintained and distributed according to specified procedures
- Keeps inventory and all related records organized and orderly for ease of retrieval
- Prepares and audits spare parts requisitions for purchase
- Keep daily reporting current with status of spare parts
- Controls access to the spare parts crib
- Issues spare parts to technicians upon request
- Assigns work order numbers to spare parts requisitions
Job Requirements- High school diploma / equivalent or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience
- Must have a valid Virginia Driver license or North Carolina Driver license (if North Carolina resident)
- Proficient in computer applications (Excel, Outlook, Database management)
- Previous storeroom experience
- Knowledge of maintenance-related parts preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, bend, at the waist and knees and climb for most of the shift
