*About the Role*
As a *CPO -ABC Board-Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist*, you will serve patients through advanced, compassionate prosthetic and orthotic are by evaluating, designing, fitting, adjusting, documentation and follow patients through their prosthetic and/or orthotic care. You’ll work alongside our clinical team and fabrication lab to ensure every device fits well, functions well, and improves the patient’s quality of life. This position is open to, and responsibilities are based/will vary based on certification and experience level.
*Work Environment*
· *Primary Location:* Toledo, OH
· *Additional Ohio Locations:* Amherst, Sandusky, North Olmsted, Niles, Akron (coming 2026)
· *Working Hours: *Vary by location and each clinician schedule, standardly M-F (occasional weekend) Flexibility available.
· *FSLA: *Full-time Non-Exempt Hourly and Exempt Salary(based on role, outlined at time of offer)
· *Reports to: *The Head Clinician and Operations Manager
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Evaluate* patients and determine appropriate prosthetic or orthotic solutions.
* *Take* measurements, casts, scans, or digital captures as appropriate.
* *Work closely* with our in-house fabrication lab to design devices that meet clinical goals and patient lifestyle needs.
* *Fit, align, adjust, and troubleshoot* devices to ensure comfort, safety, and function.
* *Educate* patients and caregivers on device use, care, and expectations.
* *Provide *ongoing follow-up to monitor device effectiveness, fit, alignment, and patient progress.
* *Maintain* clear, accurate clinical documentation according to company and regulatory standards.
* *Collaborate* professionally with physicians, therapists, case managers, and families.
* For Orthotic Fitters: Perform fittings and follow-ups for braces and orthoses, with opportunities to grow skillset.
* Additionally assigned responsibilities by management.
*Qualifications*
· Required: ABC Certification or eligibility in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics or Orthotic Fitting. (Residency graduates welcome to apply.)
· Strong clinical reasoning and hands-on adjustment skills.
· Clear and confident communication with patients, families, and clinical partners.
· Dependability and professionalism; ability to follow through and manage a caseload.
· A patient-first mindset with attention to detail and long-term outcomes.
· Willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a supportive clinical environment.
· Desired/Preferred but not Required:
* Hand casting, modifying and technical work
* Digital scanning, CAD/CAM, 3D printing.
* Experience working with pediatric or complex case populations.
* Interest in specialty prosthetic components or advanced orthotic systems.
*Compensation & Benefits*
· *CPO/CP:* $75,000 – $100,000+ (based on experience, incentive, and productivity)
