*Job Summary:*
Ramirez-Smith Law is seeking an ambitious Criminal Defense or Civil Attorney with 0+ years of experience to join our busy but well-supported criminal department. The ideal candidate will be attentive, creative, detail-oriented, and organized, helping us maintain the highest level of service and dedication to our clients. Salary is dependent on experience.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including court appearances, motions, and trials.
* Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
* Develop and implement defense strategies tailored to each client’s unique situation.
* Maintain effective communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments.
* Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
* Stay current with developments in criminal law and procedure.
*Qualifications:*
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admitted to practice law in Idaho.
* 0+ years of experience in criminal defense or related legal field.
* Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
* Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and client service.
* Passion for justice and dedication to defending clients' rights.
