Job DescriptionAs a Manufacturing Support Specialist I here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and guidance to our manufacturing teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
In this role, you in this role will ensure the seamless flow of communication, documentation, and data integrity across departments directly impacting productivity, compliance, and workforce efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage and coordinate daily administrative functions including scheduling customer meetings and conference rooms, making sure conference rooms are adequately supplied with snacks and other required items, greeting customers as they arrive on-site, and making sure visitors have the correct PPE.
- Prepare and distribute labor reports, Tier Topics slides, presentations, and other communications to support the St. Louis site director and others.
- Greet vendors and serve as the focal point for directing them to the correct on-site personnel including escorting them and ensuring they are following proper safety protocols.
- Support onboarding logistics for new hires. employee engagement activities, audit, SOP updates, planning team as needed, etc.
- Assemble work order packages including drawings, cover sheets, etc to ensure that work is accurate and released to the floor in a timely fashion.
- Serve as primary backup to the shipping lead to ensure products leave the St. Louis site in a timely fashion that supports customer needs and St. Louis site sales goals.
- Assist with procurement of supplies required to operate the St. Louis site.
- Additional duties as required.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- 1+ years of administrative experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Some college coursework is preferred with a degree being desirable. Equivalent experience in a related field will be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using software tools such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
