Position Overview

As a Dispatch Specialist, you are the vital link between our customers, drivers, and operations. Your quick thinking and attention to detail ensure smooth scheduling, efficient delivery, and outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule drivers for timely pick-ups and deliveries


  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and requests


  • Monitor transportation routes and proactively resolve logistical challenges


  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and service


  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and schedules


  • Support process improvements and help drive operational excellence


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college coursework is a plus


  • Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or customer service preferred


  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills


  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities


  • Comfort with technology and dispatch management systems


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team


Work Requirements

  • Flexible availability, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed


  • Capable of working in a fast-paced office environment


  • Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer/phone throughout the shift
