Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred.
  • Documentation of recent experience with restorative nursing programs, ADL training, and fall prevention preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete Medicare/Medicaid documentation and skilled notes preferred.
  • Client requires ability to work with geriatric patient population and common SNF equipment such as Hoyer lifts and standard therapeutic modalities.
