Job Description
Busy office seeking experienced Optician-MUST be currently Florida licensed.
Looking for a highly driven, personable consultative seller: one who has fun helping people see and doesn't judge the patient, and helps them fill their optical needs.
Duties include, but not limited to:
* Fitting patients frames according to face shape, prescription and style
* Scheduling appointments and verifying insurance benefits
* Billing for exams and materials purchased
* Collecting copays
* Utilizing upselling techniques for lens enhancements
* Entering orders into POS system
* Ensuring orders are processed and delivered in timely manner
* Help keep the clinic beautiful and clean
* Mentor optical students as needed, share optical knowledge with entire clinic
* *This role is eligible for bonuses/commissions and management opportunities*
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
