Inspector - Level 5, 1st shift 9/80 schedule

Job Description

As an Inspector Level 5 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance within the Integrated Supply Chain for Honeywell Aerospace. You will be responsible for performing detailed inspections, verifying product conformity, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maintain operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to our Quality Assurance Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Lansdale, PA location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact product quality, supply chain reliability, and regulatory compliance, contributing directly to the success of Honeywell Aerospace’s supply chain operations.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Document inspection results and communicate findings to relevant teams to support corrective actions and quality improvements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable aerospace industry regulations and Honeywell quality standards.


Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • At least six (6) years of experience in quality inspection within aerospace or integrated supply chain environments.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards, inspection techniques, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and measurement equipment, including CMM, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and documentation practices.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents accurately.


WE VALUE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in aerospace supply chain or manufacturing quality assurance.
  • Certification in quality standards such as AS9100 or Six Sigma is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
