Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Kansas state Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required from AHA or ARC.
• Experience working in an acute rehabilitation unit, inpatient rehabilitation facility, or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with neurologic and orthopedic inpatient rehabilitation evaluations and treatment planning preferred.
• Comfort with documentation in electronic medical records systems preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Unit: Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) in a community, not-for-profit hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0800-1600.
• Assignment focus: Inpatient acute rehabilitation caseload including neurologic and orthopedic diagnoses.
