Front Services Attendant

Job Description

Overview:

It is the responsibility of the front services attendant to assist patrons of the hotel with luggage and parcels while provided a high degree of guest service. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity). 

Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of the Bell & Door department.
  • Provide positive service standards including but not limited to courtesy, sincerity and enthusiasm to all guests of the hotel.
  • Deliver baggage to and from guestrooms as assigned.
  • Deliver sundry items, mail, packages, laundry, flowers, etc. to guest rooms and employees upon request, assist loading and unloading of baggage from guests’ vehicles to the conveyor system as assigned, perform room changes as assigned.
  • Maintain clean work area, i.e., stock supplies, polish work carts, store baggage in assigned bins.
  • Maintain interaction with Limo dispatcher, Door attendant and Valet parking attendants to promote quality service to guests.
  • Required to drive company vehicles, including limousines, as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

  • Able to lift heavy objects.
  • Outgoing personality.
  • Valid Nevada driver’s license.
  • Proof of insurance.
  • Minimum age requirement is 21.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate.
  • Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Previous front service experience preferred.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
