The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking an
On-Call RN to join our compassionate and skilled care team!
This role is ideal for RNs who enjoy variety in their schedule and thrive in a leadership role that ensures residents receive exceptional care during any shift they support.
💚 What You'll DoAs an RN, you will:
- Supervise and support nursing staff during your assigned shifts
- Ensure high standards of resident care, safety, and satisfaction
- Complete admissions, transfers, discharges, and evaluations
- Provide direct hands-on nursing care as needed (IVs, treatments, specimen collection, vital checks, etc.)
- Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with physician orders
- Monitor resident changes and communicate with physicians and families
- Participate in care planning and documentation procedures
- Help maintain regulatory compliance, infection control, and safety standards
- Promote a positive, respectful, and team-focused environment
🧠 What You Bring- Current, active RN license in California — in good standing
- 2+ years nursing experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
- Rehab/restorative nursing knowledge a plus
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and compassionate in all situations
- CPR certification required
- PCC (PointClickCare) experience preferred
