Finance Manager EDS P&L

Job Description

As a Finance Manager at Honeywell, you will provide strategic financial support for the integration of the $1B Electromagnetic Defensive Solutions (EDS) SBU overseeing the P&L and Balance Sheet. You will strategize and execute aligning EDS finance activities with established Aero forecasting and reporting practices. In addition, you will play a pivotal role managing the integration budget working cross functionally to ensure activities are accurately forecasted and correctly reported.

You will engage in all aspects of finance focusing on sales and working capital. Your expertise in Percentage of Completion (POC) revenue recognition will enable you to provide valuable insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization.

This pivotal role will be a change agent for the EDS SBU/GBE Finance teams providing guidance as they migrate to SAP and adopt Aero Accounting policies and procedures. You will work directly with EDS Controller and GBE Finance teams. Your alignment with Government Accounting work streams will ensure the positive financial impact of strategic decisions

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee migration of the business analysis and planning function, driving strategic planning and analysis initiatives
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership based on data driven insights
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of business analysis and planning activities
  • Indirectly lead and develop a high performing team of finance analysts
  • Enhance the monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators to track business performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost saving opportunities and improve efficiency


Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial finance or related roles
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of financial principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and MS Office
  • Ability to effectively indirectly lead and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
