Business Analyst II - SGA Activities (D365 F&O)
Join our team as a Business Analyst II and play a key role in owning, supporting, and improving Finance and Order ‑ to ‑ Cash business processes across our manufacturing and distribution organization. This role serves as a functional partner to Finance and Customer Service teams , ensuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations supports business needs accurately, efficiently, and consistently.
You will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, representing business requirements while remaining focused on functional process outcomes and driving measurable process improvements.
What You'll Do
Own and Improve Core Business Processes
- Serve as the functional owner for Finance and Order Entry processes , including AR/AP, GL, invoicing, pricing, customer setup, credit, and order lifecycle activities.
- Evaluate current ‑ state processes, identify gaps, and lead improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and financial controls .
- Own the flows and procedures that ensure the Finance and Order ‑ to ‑ Cash processes are executed consistently and in alignment with accounting policy and internal controls.
- Ensure process flexibility for nimble responses to future business changes.
Be the D365 F&O Functional Expert
- Support day ‑ to ‑ day business questions and issues and resolve process or setup issues.
- Work with other Business Analysts and your manager to help set and communicate priorities on issues and enhancements.
Partner with the Business
- Work closely with Finance, Customer Service, and Operations leaders , and partner with Supply Chain where processes intersect Order ‑ to ‑ Cash activities.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather requirements, validate solutions, and drive consensus.
- Clearly communicate business impacts, risks, and trade ‑ offs for proposed changes.
