Manager, Aircraft Scheduling and Dispatch

Job Description

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and safety of our flight operations, ensuring that our aircraft are scheduled and dispatched in a timely manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

You will report directly to our Sr. Director of Flight Operations, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.



Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and oversee the aircraft scheduling and dispatch operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to optimize flight schedules.
  • Trip scheduling, continual flight following, and accurate passenger and crew manifests
  • Scheduling travel for company passengers on all modes of transportation, including the company aircraft
  • Scheduling ground transportation and accommodations for crew members and passengers
  • Scheduling company aircraft for flights and maintenance
  • Entering flight times and maintaining department flight records
  • Retaining passenger manifests and logs for all flights
  • Maintaining current information on the location of Honeywell Flight Operations aircraft
  • Providing flight crews with Flight Plan and weather information
  • Arranging aircraft fueling for trips and negotiating discounts with fuel providers
  • Obtaining necessary landing/overflight permits, slots, and visas for passengers and crew members when flying into and out of foreign countries
  • Selecting and arranging Fixed Base Operators (FBOs)
  • Assisting Flight Attendants with catering orders


Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Holds a Dispatcher's License
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a dispatcher
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and industry best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team of dispatchers.
