Job Description
Honeywell Aerospace is looking for a Controllership Manager in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role you will leverage your accounting knowledge and experience to research complex accounting and business topics while collaborating cross-functionally to set standards and policies and prepare monthly/quarterly accounting and reporting deliverables. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Accounting and Policy and is on a hybrid (in-office/remote) arrangement.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Manage the implementation of new accounting pronouncements and policies, monitoring proposed and enacted updates from the FASB and SEC
• Provide consultation with various business stakeholders regarding significant or unique transactions and new contracts
• Prepare and/or review monthly and quarterly corporate accounting adjustments and reconciliations
• Support quarter and year-end financial statement footnote preparation
• Liaison with the Finance Systems team and outside consultants during upcoming ERP implementation
Qualifications
Must haves:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field
• CPA or working towards obtaining a CPA license
• Minimum 5 years experience in a related field. Minimum 3 being at a Big 4 or regional public accounting firm
