You will be part of an engineering team that is defining the future of Honeywell Lighting products. You will work closely with engineering leadership and program management to support new product introductions, which include, but are not limited to, building engineering development units, capturing and interpreting technical data, reporting for internal and external customers, and contributing to engineering test planning and scheduling activities. You may act as a liaison between the engineering lab, Integrated Supply Chain (factory), and other functional groups within the Lighting Center of Excellence site.
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create test processes to support production and qualification testing.
- Serve as the project focal point to manage testing, troubleshooting, and prototype builds.
- Provide technical knowledge to support New Product Introduction (NPI) product development and qualification testing.
- Direct activities to enable test equipment builds.
- Facilitate the troubleshooting and repair of products and test equipment down to the component level.
- Support technical inquiries and provide oversight as needed with internal customers.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE
- 2-year associate degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 or more years experience in the following:
- Knowledge of maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic products and test systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Demonstrated verbal, written, and global communication skills, along with presentation, leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
