Job Description
*Pediatric Speech Therapist*
Grand Forks
Full-Time | 40 Hours Guaranteed | Flexible 4-Day Option
This is a full-time position with 40 hours guaranteed weekly — including while building your caseload.
*What We Offer:*
* $34–$42/hour based on experience
* 40 hours guaranteed per week
* $1,000 sign-on bonus (paid after 90 days)
* Structured 3-month mentorship before full productivity expectations
* Flexible scheduling — many therapists choose a 4-day, 10-hour workweek
* Clinic hours typically fall between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
* No weekends required
* ND & MN licensure fees paid
* CEU reimbursement
* Variety of settings: clinic, daycare, and home-based services
* Supportive, collaborative pediatric team
*Caseload Development*
Therapists build their caseload by scheduling and completing evaluations directly. When a child qualifies, they are added to your ongoing caseload.
With strong community demand, most therapists reach a full caseload within approximately 8–10 weeks, depending on scheduling preferences.

Interact Therapy is a locally owned pediatric therapy practice originally based in Fargo, ND, providing speech, occupational, and physical therapy services to children and families across the Fargo–Moorhead and Grand Forks area.
Our interdisciplinary team delivers individualized, family-centered care through in-clinic sessions, school partnerships, home visits, and teletherapy. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals find their voice—whether that means supporting clearer communication, safer swallowing, or building confidence through connection.
You’ll lead screenings and assessments and create personalized therapy plans that reflect each person's unique strengths, challenges, and goals. Success in this role means more than clinical skill; it requires empathy, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to meeting people where they are. We're looking for someone who is compassionate, curious, adaptable, and driven to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:
· Diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders
· Create individualized treatment and therapy plans for a diverse patient population
· Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders
· Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and their causes, including disabilities and traumatic events
· Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress
· Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, such as family members, teachers, or medical professionals
Requirements:
· Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology.
· Valid state license or certification for ND and/or MN.
· Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.
· Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency with computers, especially patient and healthcare databases. · Attentive and caring with the ability to develop treatment plans and goals.
