Job Description
Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies is a privately owned, AAHA-accredited, 24/7 specialty and emergency hospital seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment alongside skilled specialists and support staff dedicated to exceptional patient care.
This position is available full-time, with a 4/10 swing or overnight schedule and availability needed Monday through Sunday.

*Minimum Qualifications*
* 3+ years of veterinary clinic experience; emergency experience strongly preferred
* Active Colorado Registered Veterinary Technician license
*Demonstrated proficiency in:*
* Client communication and education
* Anesthesia induction and monitoring
* IV catheter placement
* SQ, IV, and IM injections
* Drug calculations
* Inpatient and outpatient nursing care

Our 10,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is equipped with CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, and multiple surgical suites. Our services include Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, and Critical Care.
