Job Description
*Allegheny Country Club* is a family-centered private club offering exceptional sports, recreational, and social experiences. Our tradition of excellence provides high-quality facilities and programming for members of all ages.
We are seeking a *licensed Massage Therapist* to provide services as an independent contractor. This contractor will deliver massage services to our membership while upholding the Club’s standards of professionalism, safety, and guest satisfaction.
*Scope of Work (Independent Contractor Services):*
The contractor will be responsible for providing professional massage therapy services, including but not limited to:
* Conducting client consultations to assess needs, screen for contraindications, and recommend appropriate services.
* Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary treatment area and ensuring linens and supplies are refreshed between sessions.
* Managing their own workstation setup and cleanup.
* Coordinating with Club staff regarding scheduling, member needs, and service offerings.
* Maintaining client records and documentation required for safe service delivery.
* Providing massage services as listed in the Club’s service menu.
* Operating in accordance with applicable health, safety, and professional licensing standards.
Note: Any orientation or informational sessions offered by the Club are voluntary and intended only to support alignment with Club procedures — not employment training.
*Qualifications & Skills:*
* Active massage therapy license in the state of Pennsylvania.
* Minimum of 6 months of professional massage therapy experience (preferred).
* Experience in one or more of the following modalities is a plus: reflexology, Swedish, prenatal, hot stone, trigger point, sports, or deep tissue massage.
* Ability to perform hands-on work for extended periods.
* Ability to operate independently while maintaining strong professional communication with Club staff.
