Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time associate veterinarian.. You will be responsible for all aspects of veterinary medicine: routine exams, sick visits, surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, urgent and emergency care. The ideal candidate will be compassionate with animals and clients, out-going with staff and have a strong desire to stay long-term and grow within a supportive practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Wellness exams, sick visits, surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, urgent and emergency cases
* Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, injuries and illnesses
* Advising clients on best care practices throughout different life stages
* Conduct all appropriate diagnostic tests
* Communicate effectively with pet owners about diagnosis, treatments options and preventative care
* Collaborate with team members to provide the best possible care for each patient
* Quality of life and End-of-life consultations with owners.
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD or equivalent)
* Pennsylvania veterinary medical license
* Previous experience in a veterinary hospital preferred
* Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude
* A compassionate and dedicated approach to patient care
