Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable Dental Hygienist for either a full-time (32–33 hours weekly) or part-time (approximately 24 hours weekly) position.
We are looking for a professional who can build trust with children and their families, possesses a deep knowledge of health and safety regulations, and has a genuine love for pediatric care.
*Full Time wages : 74,000-76,000 per year*
*Part Time wages : 55,500-57,800 per year*
*Typical work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., which includes a one-hour lunch break.*

*Responsibilities*
* Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
* Sterilize dental instruments properly
* Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
* Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque and apply fluoride)
* Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
* Take X-rays
* Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
* *Skills*
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA, OSHA, Infection Control)
* Outstanding communication skills
* A child friendly personality
* Attention to detail
* Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
* Valid CT Dental Hygiene license to practice
