Truck Driver (CDL Required) - Medium(Water Truck) - Ft Hood

Job Description

Hourly Rate: $19.35
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.

The Truck Driver - Medium (Water Truck) will water trees and plants, assist with planting of trees, and perform daily inspections of the water truck. Performs required tasks assigned by Supervisor/ Project Manager.


Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and valid driver's license (CDL required)

Essential Functions

  • Safely operate the Water Truck and other equipment
  • Fill tank with water
  • Water trees and plants that are under warranty.
  • Assist in the planting of trees and plants.
  • Keep a log of water consumption.
  • Water warranty and non warranty trees and plants on a schedule and turn in the completed schedule each day.
  • Catalog whether the trees are alive or dead.
  • Maintain the tags that are on the trees as well as the stakes and wires that hold the trees in place.
  • Perform daily inspection of the water truck: Oil, water, mileage log, tires etc
  • Other duties as assigned by Project Manager
