X-Ray Radiology Technologist

We are an Ambulatory Surgery Center seeking an X-Ray Technician to operate the C-arm during pain management and surgical procedures. Qualifications include a Current New Jersey Radiological Technologist License.

Purpose and Scope:

* Maintains proper functioning and documents of C-arm equipment and accessories according to facility policy.
* Performs assigned duties under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
* Promotes safety of patients, co-workers and self through practice of Standard/Universal Precautions.

Responsibilities:

* Assembles the necessary supplies and equipment according to the type of procedure being performed
* Assists in positioning of patient on the stretcher
* Assists physician during procedures requiring C-arm
* Observes progress of procedure and provides additional equipment, supplies or other items to physician as needed
* Adheres to infection control policy and procedure
* Cleans equipment and supplies at the end of procedure according to the manufacture's guidelines and the Center's policy and procedure.
* Assists with the orientation of new personnel
* Participates in designated in-service programs
* Maintains confidentiality

We are looking for a candidate with 2 years minimum experience operating the c-arm for primarily pain management and orthopedic cases.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
