Our Private Practice is looking for an energetic and dependable team player to join our
office as a full time or part time Dental Hygienist! We’re a thriving dental practice known
for our cutting-edge technology, warm and welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to
the highest standards of patient care. As we continue to grow, we’re looking to add a
superstar Dental Hygienist who shares our values and vision. You will perform
comprehensive cleanings, dental X-rays, fluoride treatments, and educate patients on
oral hygiene practices. Must have a current dental hygiene license; experience
preferred but new grads are welcome!
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8-5:00pm
Wednesday and Friday 8-1:00pm
Every other Saturday 8:30-1:30pm

```Duties```
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Conduct patient assessments, including oral health screenings and medical history
reviews
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse rate
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized
recommendations for dental care
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials
- Document patient information and treatment plans in electronic health record systems
(such as Patient Xpress)
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile
environment
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
```Experience```
- Proficient in infection control practices and protocols
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (such as Patient Xpress) for medical
documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental
professionals
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines
- Understanding of dental office operations and workflows
- Solid understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
