Schedule: Monday–Friday | Occasional Saturdays as needed
Shift: Approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Average Hours: 45+ per week

Pay
Pay starts at $25.00 per hour
No prior grease trap or industry experience required — we will train you!
Higher starting pay available based on CDL experience and relevant background.
Position Overview
Dover Grease Traps, a Liquid Environmental Solutions company, is seeking a CDL B Field Service Technician to support our grease trap service operations in Fraser, Michigan.
This position performs hands-on service work using vacuum equipment to clean and maintain commercial grease traps. This is not long-haul trucking — technicians report to the shop daily, service local routes, and return home each night.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled grease trap pumping and cleaning at customer locations
- Operate CDL B vacuum trucks and related service equipment
- Handle hoses, tools, and materials safely and efficiently
- Interact professionally with customers while on site
- Accurately complete service documentation and electronic logs
- Utilize fleet technology and onboard systems as required
- Follow all DOT, safety, and environmental compliance standards
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage (approximately 5 days per month)
Technology & Systems
- Comfortable using ELD systems
- Comfortable with fleet management and routing software
- Willing and able to follow technology-based safety and compliance processes
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B license
- Tanker endorsement and air brakes required
- Ability to meet DOT medical requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 55 lbs
- Comfortable working around greasy materials and strong odors
- Willingness to work occasional Saturdays and on-call shifts
- Authorized to work in the United States
No prior grease trap or vacuum truck experience required — paid training provided.
