Dual Rate Dealer - Dealer School

Job Description

Overview:
  • Dealer School begins February 9, 2026 and ends April 3, 2026.
  • DEADLINE TO APPLY: January 23, 2026
  • The class will be 8 weeks long: Monday-Friday. 8am-12pm OR 1pm-5pm. Last day of class will be Friday, April 3, 2026.
  • Unpaid
  • Must be able to obtain a Louisiana Gaming License.
  • This is a part time position, will be a dual rate dealer and will be required to learn additional games as well as supervisor skills if employment is obtained by GNLC.
Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
  • Offers the highest possible level of Customer Service resulting in a maximum level of customer enjoyment and return play.
  • Responsible for knowing all policies & procedures of the specific table game he/she is supervising.
  • Maintains a work environment that is safe, professional, friendly and conducive to a high level of productivity & performance, as well as, morale.
  • Works diligently to support the Golden Nugget’s culture and team philosophy throughout the property.
  • Acts as a role model to all employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Golden Nugget and encourages other team members to do the same.
  • Promotes positive public relations and creates an enjoyable atmosphere for all customers.
  • Amicably resolves customer related problems in a fast paced environment.
  • Ensures the protection of customer’s rewards and credit lines.
  • Complies with all departmental and Company Policies including Golden Nugget’s business ethics guidelines.
  • Complies with all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all Golden Nugget’s trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information.
  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

  • Must possess a certificate of completion from an accredited Gaming School or equivalent.
  • Must be able to deal two primary games with a high level of proficiency.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and talent relation skills.

 

Floor Supervisor position

  • Five years casino experience with a minimum of three years in a D/R management level.
  • Must be knowledgeable of at least two primary casino games.
  • Must be able to Supervise all “non primary” games within 6 months of employment (non primary game is defined as any game other than craps, blackjack, roulette, baccarat/mini or tiles).
  • Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must have knowledge of Golden Nugget’s Gaming Policies and Procedures.

Posted Salary Range: USD $5.00 - USD $5.00 /Hr.
