Job Description
*Acorns To Oak Trees is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic LICENSED Speech-Language Pathologist seeking an opportunity in Southern California. *
We are a dedicated and passionate non-profit organization that aims to help native families thrive. We are offering an opportunity for a SLP who loves to travel, has a heart for serving underserved communities, and a passion for advocacy to join our growing team!
Candidates must patient, energetic, kid-loving therapist who can assess children, create a treatment plan to be executed via evidence-based practice. Must be willing to travel within California, comfortable working with/advising parents from varying socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds and respectfully provide in-home treatment.
Qualifications:
-Active California Speech-Language Pathology/Assistant license, Clinical Fellows/RPE will be considered
-Time management and organizational skills
-Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with strong interpersonal skills
-Ability to adapt to changes in work environment and location
-Fast learner that require minimal supervision
-Treats others with respect and consideration
Responsibilities:
-Assessing and treating speech/language delays/disorders in the pediatric population.
-Ability to write a comprehensive treatment plan to address client areas of opportunity
-Ability to take session data and document via SOAP note format
-Parent/family education regarding speech and language development
-Collaboration between other disciplines such as Occupational and/or ABA
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
