Starting Pay: $65.00 per hour

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary care team. This part-time position is a great opportunity for a skilled professional passionate about improving communication and swallowing abilities in a skilled nursing setting.
About Us:Sierra Valley Rehab Center is a respected provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in Porterville, California. We are committed to providing compassionate care and helping our residents reach their highest level of independence.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with the care team
- Provide direct therapy and caregiver/staff training as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily treatment notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries
- Participate in care planning meetings and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility standards
Qualifications:- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid California SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- CPR certification
