Job Description
*Capital Area Physical Therapy and Wellness is a physical therapist owned practice with 5 locations in the capital region. Signing Bonus offered for PTs with experience.*

3 Board Certified Orthopedic Specialists
1 Board Certified Neurologic Specialist
1 Board Certified Sports Specialist
1 Manual Therapy Certified Specialist
2 Certified Strength and Condition Specialists
Also TPI certified PTs, internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment, TMJ specialists, and a Licensed Massage Therapist.
*Assistance provided to help earn specialization (OCS, SCS, NCS, etc) both financially and in mentorship. One on one mentorship is available to those interested. Opportunities to mentor students regularly. Compensation based on experience.*
*Responsibilities*
* Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
* Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
* Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
* Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
* Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
* Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
* Consult and practice with other health professionals
* Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
* Document patient care services
*Skills*
* Proven work experience as a physical therapist
* Intensive education and clinical expertise
* Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
* Current knowledge of treatment practices
* Drive to continually learn and grow
* Professional behavior
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Valid license to practice physical therapy
* Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy
