*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Physical Therapist to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in anatomy and physiology and bring experience across a variety of therapeutic techniques and care settings.
In this role, you will work closely with patients to create personalized treatment plans that enhance mobility, build strength, and improve overall quality of life. You will have opportunities to provide care in clinic, inpatient, and home community settings, allowing for a dynamic and rewarding patient-care experience.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ functional abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals and clinical findings.
* Administer therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
* Continuously monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Educate patients and families on home exercises, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications that support recovery.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
* Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.
* Stay current with advancements in physical therapy by participating in continuing education and professional development.
*Requirements*
* Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited PT program.
* Valid state PT licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
* Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based therapeutic methods.
* Experience or familiarity with home community care (preferred).
* Knowledge of orthopedics, pediatrics, inpatient care, and clinic operations is advantageous.
* Demonstrated ability to develop effective, patient-specific treatment plans.
* Proficiency in therapeutic modalities, including trigger point therapy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
