Description: Set up, adjust, and operate assigned petrochemical machining equipment, including pullbore machines, tracer (T) lathes, cutoff saws, and related equipment, to perform rough and finish machining operations on metal tubes and parts to specified tolerances. Work from blueprints, routings, process sheets, specifications, and computerized production information to determine machining requirements, tooling, operating sequences, and inspection needs. Select, prepare, install, and adjust appropriate tooling for the assigned operation. For pullbore work, this may include calculating head size, grinding heads, and assembling bars, bushings, packing, and springs.
