Providence Community Health SUMMARY: Provide comprehensive medical care to patients served at PCHC, in accordance with the policies and procedures and philosophy of PCHC.  All duties/responsibilities are performed across life cycle (infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric), as applicable. ESSENTIAL DUTIES : Perform physical examinations, treat illness, injuries, health problems, and address preventive health needs appropriate to that physician's training, experience, and specialty, taking into consideration the ambulatory nature of the health center. Make appropriate referrals to specialists, subspecialties, hospital emergency rooms, hospital clinics, etc., when good medical judgment dictates such referrals. Duties & Responsibilities:   Provides excellent internal/external customer service in all interactions with patients and PCHC staff. Answers incoming calls to all Health Center sites, gathers accurate information from the caller and delivers the necessary information or service by assisting the caller directly or routing the call appropriately. Uses Hotlist Guidelines appropriately and routes call directly to Nurse. Gathers information from caller and schedules appointment appropriately while insuring accuracy of Health Center, provider, date, time, and reason for visit. Providence Community Health Performs all housekeeping duties, implementing disinfection and cleaning guidelines, and maintains general upkeep of assigned premises. Duties & Responsibilities:   Wearing utility gloves during all cleaning and trash removal procedures, cleans facility according to Disinfection and Cleaning Schedule; checks and replenishes, as needed, paper towels, toilet tissue, liquid soap and Purell in appropriate dispensers, daily; Empties all regular wastebaskets and replaces plastic bags, daily;  Disposes of all trash in dumpster after proper bagging; Disposes  recyclable trash in proper dumpster;  Removes all red plastic bags from biohazard containers and stores in designated container, as needed.
