The department strives to accomplish this through the following department objectives:

1- Protect community members, tourists, and property.

2- Maintain a low crime rate through a high visibility preventive patrol, crime prevention, and community partnerships.

3- Develop relationships with local residents and businesses.

4- Partner and collaborate with our neighboring Law Enforcement Agencies, to provide effective and efficient response to local emergencies and community issues.

5- Keep the Town of Haymarket a Pedestrian friendly town through concentrated traffic enforcement.
