Summary Performs non-technical processing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste by performing the following duties. Candidates will have to pass a drug screen and criminal background check, as well as a fitness for duty test which includes a pulmonary function test. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Operating industrial shredder, extractor, compacter, aerosol puncture device and drum washer Sorting non-hazardous waste, such as batteries, light bulbs and household paint De-packaging and sorting consumer product Pumping bulk liquids into tanks/tankers Loading and unloading trucks using hand carts/barrel carts Participating in Household Hazardous Waste Collections at customer sites occasionally Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
