Job Description : Substitutes Wanted for the Glen Ridge Public Library Join a great team at the Glen Ridge Public Library! The Glen Ridge Public Library is seeking a part-time substitute Library Assistant for at least two (2) Saturdays per month during the hours of 9:00AM - 5:00PM (Saturday shifts are 9:00AM-1:30PM, 12:30-5:00PM, and 9AM-5PM); and during the week, both daytime and evenings on an as-needed basis. This person will have the opportunity to work in both youth services and adult departments. The applicant must be a friendly and flexible quick-thinker, who can multitask and is very detail-oriented, and above all genuinely enjoys helping people of all ages within the full range of patron-service duties. Customer service experience, and an appreciation of books, pop-culture, and technology is desired.
