YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo

The YMCA is the nation's leading nonprofit committed to helping people and communities to learn, grow, and thrive through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Today, the YMCA engages in more than 10,000 neighborhoods across the U.S. Our contributions are both far-reaching and intimate—from influencing our nation's culture during times of profound social change to the individual support we provide a child learning to read. The YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo consists of four sites: our Maple and Portage facilities which offer a variety of program and fitness amenities, and our Youth Development Program at Lincoln International Studies Elementary School, and Northside Early Learning Program.

By nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving the nation's health and well-being, and supporting and serving our neighbors, the Y ensures that everyone has the opportunity to become healthier, more confident, connected, and secure. A nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, the Y depends on community support through grants and donations to provide financial assistance to those who otherwise would not be able to have a Y experience.  Learn more about our rich history and get a snapshot of our many successes over the last 160 years on behalf of the individuals and communities we are privileged to serve.
