ONEX Construction

Founded in 1996, Onex Construction began as a specialized refractory contractor committed to craftsmanship, safety, and dependable service. From the start, our focus was on delivering high‑quality refractory installations and repairs for high‑temperature industrial environments — work that demanded precision, skill, and trust.

As our reputation grew, so did the needs of our customers. In 2012, Onex expanded its capabilities with the launch of our Industrial Mechanical Division, marking a major milestone in our evolution. This addition allowed us to support larger, more complex projects by integrating mechanical construction, equipment installation, and structural steel services alongside our established refractory expertise.

Over the years, Onex continued to grow, diversify, and invest in technical talent, ultimately transforming into a multi‑discipline industrial contractor serving clients across the country. Today, we operate through seven specialized divisions, each built to deliver excellence in its field:

  • Refractory Construction
  • Industrial Mechanical
  • Piping Installation
  • Building Solutions
  • Shop Fabrication
  • Engineering
  • Metrology

From a single‑service contractor to a comprehensive industrial solutions provider, our history is defined by continuous improvement, customer partnership, and a commitment to doing the job right. Nearly three decades later, Onex Construction remains driven by the same values that shaped our beginning — craftsmanship, reliability, and a dedication to building long‑term success for our clients.
