Established in 1689 by William Penn and members of the Religious Society of Friends, Penn Charter is a community guided by Quaker testimonies and the central belief that there is "that of God" in every person. Exempt Position Reports to Director of Lower School and Director of Educational Technology Position Summary The Lower School Innovation and Design teacher will work with a co-teacher to guide students through the innovation design process as well as their exploration of topics, including digital citizenship, coding, AI, robotics, and using technology tools to express themselves creatively and effectively. They will partner with Lower School faculty to work collaboratively toward meeting the needs of students through the use of technology and create a culture of innovative teaching and learning. Title: Teaching Fellow Independent School Teaching Fellows of Greater Philadelphia Job Description:   The  Independent School Teaching Fellows Program of Greater Philadelphia  is a multi-school collaborative offering a teaching fellowship role for emerging educators, in an initiative that seeks to increase both the presence of and opportunities for underrepresented groups, particularly people of color, in schools. Emerging educators from underrepresented identities are encouraged to apply. In the past, this teaching fellowship has been a 2-year program.
