Check and if necessary correct purchase order content to ensure it fulfils necessary standards and requirements (BOS, SOX, POS)    Support Approve Suppliers List adds and changes as necessary   Check purchase requisition / create purchase order where requested    Ensure requested products / services are in line with commodity strategies and Approved Suppliers list    Process and follow up purchase orders and approval process in ERP System   Send purchase orders to vendors   Support plants in local sourcing process – in line with commodity strategy and targets to limit supplier base   Support accounts payable with invoice reconciliation for plant etc.   For audits, responsible for support of plant team in providing purchasing information and support   Works with material which may be confidential or important in nature....

Prepare necessary paperwork to accompany outbound shipments and perform the required computer transactions to ensure that inventory is properly received and located. Print load sheets for full truckloads.  Assign load numbers to all outbound shipments.  Document information about loads and store shipping records in an appropriate location according to the corporate record retention guidelines. Evaluate and select optimized shipping solution for each request; prepares shipment / labels; track and trace shipment to point of delivery and engage in problem resolution.  Communicate to requestor shipment status and where problem resolution support is required.
