This position ensures that all areas of the facility are free of obstacles, odors, and debris, contributing to the overall health and comfort of those in our care. Essential Duties Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors. Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly. Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris. Remove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers. Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed. Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility. Follow safety protocols, including using caution signage and storing chemicals securely. Record all entries on notes, SPAs, and incident reports , etc., in an informative, descriptive manner. Report on all accidents and incidents you observe on the shift that they occur to the Executive Director and Health and Wellness Director . Agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Executive Director . General Purpose The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services. The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this state.
